
Kendull Anderson is an Oklahoma-born painting and drawing artist currently residing in Los Angeles. Anderson’s compositions draw inspiration from his dreams and memories, resulting in surreal compositions that seamlessly intertwine symbolic elements with grounded landscapes or the boundless expanse of the cosmos. A self-taught artist, Anderson’s practice serves as a therapeutic outlet, enabling him to delve into the depths of his subconscious and visually portray the colorful complexities of both his emotions and identity as a Black Christian man. Anderson is actively engaged in the vibrant Los Angeles art community and has garnered recognition through his participation in various group shows showcasing both his exceptional talent and intriguing artistic perspective.
